Polarstar Micro Reg™ GEN2

When the original Micro Regulator™ was released, it was an instant success thanks to its ultra-compact size and performance comparable to regulators twice its size. With the introduction of the second generation of this regulator, we’ve simplified the manufacturing process and made it easier to maintain, all while maintaining its compact size. With a body that’s just 0.006” taller than the original, the Micro Reg™ GEN2 stands just over 2.25” tall, making the entire regulator more compact than a traditional UFA. This streamlined, low-profile design allows tanks to fit more easily into compact backpacks popular with minimalist gear. All of this is accomplished without sacrificing performance, as this little regulator features a lightning-fast reload time comparable to its bigger brother, the MRS™.

The Micro Reg™ GEN2 now shares the exact same internal components as the UGS™ and CGS™ and features only two o-rings in the entire assembly, further increasing reliability. In addition, the GEN2 now features a two-piece housing, similar to the larger MRS™, making maintenance significantly easier.
