The Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15x50 is very suitable for shooting at long distances. This rifle scope has a Second Focal Plane reticle, which means that the reticle will stay the same size when zooming in or out. This is different from a First Focal Plane reticle, than the reticle will be larger when zooming in and smaller when zooming out. The Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 Rifle Scope is a second focal plane rifle scope with a V-Plex (MOA) reticle. The V-plex reticle is the most popular, all-purpose hunting reticle which is suitable for a wide range of hunting applications.
